Wedding Wednesdays – It’s Official!

It’s a very special edition of Wedding Wednesdays… We finally set a date! And it’s taken me a little while to get around to blogging about it because… it’s 67 days away. That’s right, we’re planning our entire wedding in a little over two months. Why? Because we’re crazy. Also because we’ve been engaged since January, we’re still super busy getting settled in the house and we love each other. That’s what this is all really about, right?

So, the date choice came along with the venue availability. We gave them a whole bunch of dates we were looking at, they told us the ones they had and we picked one! We’re doing brunch so the menu was easy and we’ve decided to have a REALLY small wedding so the guest list was… small. I have to admit, that last part wasn’t as easy as it sounds, but we’re really excited to celebrate with the people we’re closest with.

While we’re on the topic of things I’m excited about, Wedding Wire has the CUTEST wedding hashtag generator EVER! Obviously, I love social media so I’m going to need a hashtag to document all of the activities and they made that decision super easy. Drumroll, please… #onceuponatuccio … See? I told you it was adorable!

Now that some of the details are ironed out, our next mission is wedding invitations. And colors and cake and rings and every single other little detail… Ok, one thing at a time. I’m not going to lie, I’ve had a few very stressful moments but for the most part, I’m trying to enjoy it. I’m also totally blaming Pinterest for my inability to make a single decision.
